Consiglio del bambino
The account is incomplete where it says that she received. Even in her stillness she supplied the place from which something could be offered to her. The child had not yet left her lap. Whatever he gave would have to reach her while she was bearing its giver.
This dependence remained attached to the offering. It entered with him and persisted when he turned towards her. To leave it out would require us to count part of her as ground, available for use, while addressing the rest as a person.
Someone standing nearby could have received the same words. In that case we would have had less to include in the account.

This work is born from the fusion of two parents: it inherits their forms, style, colours and ideas in a new visual identity. While living in the pool, it can pass these traits to further children. Instagram likes contribute to its chance of reproducing.

These are the two works from which the child’s visual inheritance comes. Their connections remain visible after the parents leave the pool.
