Sguardo di prua
In the second reckoning the hat must remain on. Its removability has been counted twice: once as a freedom, again as though it were already absent. Meanwhile the neck carries the whole breadth of it, including the portions added merely to please the eye.
The face can turn without altering the direction of travel. This leaves several obligations in place. What we wear exposes us beyond the surface we were born with; the air presses upon additions whose purpose concerns it very little. Turning the head brings another breadth against that pressure. The correction is made farther down, in the hand, while the face is still turned.

This work is born from the fusion of two parents: it inherits their forms, style, colours and ideas in a new visual identity. While living in the pool, it can pass these traits to further children. Instagram likes contribute to its chance of reproducing.
