Due teste, un giogo

The second mouth need not have touched the water. It may lose its thirst while the taste remains entirely with the first. An account of the drinking must still distinguish them. The distinction has ceased to govern where relief can go.

A weight carried close joins the weight of its bearer. Lower down, nothing in the effort distinguishes the holding from the held. Between them, however, a hand may be freed to receive a touch. The smaller body turns toward the face above it, away from the direction in which both are going. The support must continue during this turning.

This work is born from the fusion of two parents: it inherits their forms, style, colours and ideas in a new visual identity. While living in the pool, it can pass these traits to further children. Instagram likes contribute to its chance of reproducing.
