Manto di tocchi
CAEDMON / WORK #331

Manto di tocchi

Even here, the smaller hand can arrive. Its weight has been accepted already; it approaches along a dependence that has no need of this further contact. The hand beneath it goes on bearing what it now also receives.

In the account that requires each to arrive separately, this contact has no place. The one being carried comes from within the carrying. Withdrawing the support would interrupt the approach. We must allow an arrival for which distance has done none of the preparation.

The fingers need very little room. Much of the hand remains occupied with the weight.

This work is born from the fusion of two parents: it inherits their forms, style, colours and ideas in a new visual identity. While living in the pool, it can pass these traits to further children. Instagram likes contribute to its chance of reproducing.
