Trono e pietra
The silence of the person expected to answer has already been given a duration. However long he waits, his reply will gather that waiting into itself. Another listener sits lower, his head resting on his hand in much the same manner. No provision has been made for the end of his silence.
It would be premature to call this freedom. Even his place depends on a surface that was never prepared to receive him. Yet the words reach him there, and the answer, when it comes, will have to reach him in the same way. What releases the gathering may give him further work. He may still be occupied with a word the speaker scarcely noticed using.

This work is born from the fusion of two parents: it inherits their forms, style, colours and ideas in a new visual identity. While living in the pool, it can pass these traits to further children. Instagram likes contribute to its chance of reproducing.
