Aureola di ventagli
CAEDMON / WORK #185

Aureola di ventagli

The fan could be closed without losing a single part. Even the farthest edge retained a way back. We had allowed for this return in the greater opening, since the divisions were the same.

The joint was still small enough to lie between two fingers. Farther out, the intervals had acquired occupants. Some wore the divisions themselves, which made it difficult to establish where an edge ended and the distance to the next one began. Closing would require another account of what belonged to the opening. The hand would have to be entered there as well.
